Beach Please

Today we had a half day walking tour around the old town part of Dubrovnik. I’ve heard a lot of Game of Thrones was filmed here, but I haven’t seen that show. It was really busy. it seemed very touristy but apparently almost a thousand people still live here. We started by seeing a giant public water fountain. Then we made our way around 2/3 of the city wall. We ended by seeing the monastery.

After the tour we got a quick lunch and headed for a beach. We got a little lost along the way, but there were two Italian girls who looked lost and when we asked, they were looking for the same beach. We joined forces and eventually found it. we definitely wouldn’t have found it on our own.

The beach was a hidden gem. It took a lot of stairs to get there, but it was definitely worth it. This beach was more a mix of rock and sand so my feet were a little happier.

We ended our day watching the sunset back at our hotel beach. I’m gonna miss Croatia. It‘s my favorite city so far.
