World Financial Tower
We started our day at the World Financial Tower. We got there by taking the subway which was surprisingly not as overwhelming as I expected. I thought it would be way more hectic then the DC metro or NYC subway, but surprisingly it wasn't. It was also a weird time, so it would be interesting to see it at rush hour.

The World Financial Tower (a.k.a. the "Bottle Opener") is just over 1,600 SF. It has a glass floor in its observatory floor which was really cool. Looking straight down you saw the floor below, but if you got the right angle you could see all the way to the ground. It is right next to the Shanghai Tower, so it was cool to see it from this angle. You really notice how small the World Financial Tower is compared to it. From the ground they don't really look that different. The Tower also has a weighted roof level system that helps resist the winds.
Shop Shop Shop
We had to go back to the underground market for our last afternoon. It really is addictive and a thrill trying to get a good bargain. I got a belt and a bag for a friend. We helped some of the guys get some bags for their moms and girlfriends, and they ended up getting nicer ones than I did because of their bargaining skills (I'm not salty at all).
Lazy Susan, Fat Kay

We went to another "family style" meal. Everyone was talking about their great deals from the underground market and comparing who got the best deal. I really thought I'd lose weight on this trip, but that is definitely not the case. This was probably my favorite meal so far. There were these crunchy beef strips that I really really liked. They also had jasmine tea that was really good. We have been served jasmine tea a lot, but this was definably my favorite one. After dinner, we all headed back to the hotel and packed up for an early start the next morning.
