Still Not Over the Great Wall

Wake Up Call

We woke up at 2:45 and were ready to go see the sunrise, but it was raining pretty bad and decided to cancel. We all caught a couple more Z's, ate breakfast, and headed toward the gondola around 9. I thought the wall was impressive yesterday, but today with blue skies, was even more breathtaking. Pictures don't do it justice.

Who would've thought, but the Great Wall has pretty decent wifi. I tried face timing my family, but it kept breaking up. We ended up walking 61 floors worth of stairs and around 3 miles. The wall seemed to go on forever, but the views just kept getting better and better. Some areas were pretty steep, and I definitely was feeling all the spring rolls I've been eating. It was worth it though. It was definitely an experience I will never forget, and my legs will be feeling for the next couple days.

Back to Beijing

We headed back to Beijing around 1:00 p.m. and just got to the hotel. I'm catching up on some work, and will probably have a relaxed night.
